The Marcon di Canale variety is an autochthonous Italian variety discovered in the Pinasca commune of the Turin province. The tree possesses high growth vigor and forms an open-type crown.
Fruiting occurs primarily on spurs and mixed branches. The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group; the harvest period falls in the second ten-day period of September. Flowering occurs at medium times, starting from the fourth week of April and ending in the first week of May.
