The variety is of natural origin and is traditional to the Monferrato area. Currently, the tree is represented in genetic resource collections, for example, at the conservation center in Odalengo Piccolo.

The fruits are medium-sized and have a truncated-conical symmetrical shape. The skin is smooth, yellow in ground color, without signs of russeting, with medium-sized lenticels. The peduncle is characterized by medium length and thickness.
