The apple variety Maribelle (trade name Lola®) was bred by crossing the Gloster and Elstar varieties. The harvest period for this variety coincides with that of the Golden Delicious and Jonagold varieties.

The fruits have a sugar content of about 14° Brix and flesh firmness from 7 to 8 kg/cm². Visually, they are characterized by an attractive pinkish-red blush and a crispy flesh texture.

The variety is characterized by high yield and low susceptibility to diseases, which simplifies its cultivation in the orchard.
