The tree is vigorous, forming a dense, high-globular crown. Fruits range from medium to small in size and have a slightly elongated or conical shape. The skin is smooth, slightly greasy to the touch, with a yellow-green ground color and red or pink stripes on the sunny side. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, firm, and juicy.

The variety is classified as late-autumn or winter. Harvesting begins in mid-to-late October, and consumer maturity occurs from November to March. It possesses high resistance to scab and unfavorable conditions, including severe winters and windy locations. The taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour or tangily sour.

The fruits are valued for their high juice and vitamin C content. The main purpose is the production of juices, cider, and culinary use; after storage, they can be consumed as table apples. The variety is often used as a stem builder for other varieties.
