The tree is vigorous, forming a broad rounded crown. Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in early to mid-October, consumer maturity lasts from November to March or April. The variety shows low susceptibility to canker, although in poorly ventilated areas it may be prone to scab.

Fruits are whitish-green at harvest, and upon ripening become whitish-yellow with a red or pinkish-purple blush in the form of streaks or marbling. The skin is firm and relatively thick. Fruits are used for both fresh consumption and processing.
