The tree has a strictly columnar form, reaching approximately 2.5 meters in height and 0.6 meters in width with an almost complete absence of lateral branches. When budding, the leaves have a purple hue, later turning grey-green, and acquiring a burgundy color in autumn. Flowering is abundant; the flowers are dark pink.

The fruits ripen in September, are small in size, and have a bright crimson color. The flesh is red, tart in taste, with a strawberry aroma. The variety is primarily used for decorative purposes, however, the fruits are suitable for making jelly and puree. The variety is resistant to scab and powdery mildew, and is self-sterile or partially self-fertile.
