The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a tendency to form a vertical or spreading crown. The variety possesses sufficient winter hardiness for USDA zone 4.

Fruits are medium to large in size, globose-conical in shape, with a dark red blush over a yellow-green background. They ripen in July-August. The flesh is crisp, juicy, with pronounced tartness and citrus notes.

The variety has a high susceptibility to pre-harvest fruit drop and is susceptible to certain physiological disorders during storage, such as superficial scald and skin pitting.
