The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 6 meters. The variety has high winter hardiness and is relatively resistant to scab, but shows susceptibility to fire blight.

The fruits are medium to large in size, round or slightly flattened, sometimes ribbed. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow with a bright red blush and stripes. The flesh is cream-colored, tender, fine-grained and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a light aroma.

The use of the variety is versatile: fresh consumption, preparation of sauces, purees, drying and cider. During prolonged storage or over-ripening, the flesh may acquire a mealy consistency.
