Variety description

The variety originated from a seedling obtained around 1910 and was first described in 1934. The plant belongs to the winter apple group and is adapted to the climatic conditions of Finland, where it is successfully cultivated in zones I–IV.

The tree is distinguished by an upright growth habit and a tendency for branching. The branch angle from the trunk is acute, however, as the tree matures, the crown acquires a more spreading shape.
