P 60 is a rootstock widely used in intensive fruit growing for creating compact and highly productive orchards. It provides trees with moderate vigor, comparable to the level of the M.9 rootstock.

This rootstock is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases. Its use contributes to stable fruiting, and also positively influences fruit quality, including their coloration and mineral content.
