The Perezosa tree is characterized by high or very high vigor. Fruit ripening occurs in the third decade of October. The variety has medium productivity and demonstrates low to medium susceptibility to fungal diseases.
The fruits are small to medium in size with a diameter of 66–70 mm and a height of 56 mm. They are predominantly oblate-globose in shape, sometimes truncate-conical. A feature of the fruits is a short or very short peduncle and the presence of russeting in the cavity area.
The variety is a local Asturian cultivar of natural origin. It is officially approved for the production of cider with the Protected Geographical Indication Sidra de Asturias and is not used as a dessert variety.
