The variety is an ornamental apple tree of northern origin. The mature tree reaches a height of 3–5 meters and is distinguished by a beautiful regular crown shape. The foliage is green, turning a yellow hue in autumn.
The tree is characterized by abundant early flowering with white flowers and pinkish buds. The fruits are small, about 3 cm in diameter, bright red in color, have a sour taste, and can be used for processing.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and is adapted to short northern summer periods, demonstrating rapid annual growth. In its morphological characteristics, the tree is close to the type of Malus baccata or Malus prunifolia.
