The Rabugil variety is a local Portuguese crop officially registered for fruit production. The variety is traditionally grown in the Azores.

Detailed agronomic characteristics, including fruit description, ripening periods, and disease resistance, are not available in open publications. In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned mainly as an object of research on the genetic diversity of Portuguese apple trees using SSR markers.
