The Radoux variety is a traditional apple variety originating from the Liège region. It belongs to autumn varieties, the harvest of which falls in September – October, and the consumption period in October – December.
The fruits are medium-sized, round, with a bright red blush on a yellow background and white flesh. The tree is characterized by high yield, but is prone to biennial bearing. The flowering type is mid-late, and the variety is diploid.
The plant possesses good vigor and high disease tolerance. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators, while it can act as a pollinator for other apple varieties.
