Variety R205, previously known under the breeding number CR71-4, was obtained as a result of controlled crossing. The first asexual propagation by grafting was carried out in 2014.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape and dark red (grayish-purple) skin. The flesh is colored red and white, and has a medium- or coarse-grained texture. The sugar level on the Brix scale is about 12. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and has medium keeping quality.
