The variety is a mutation of the Danish variety Ingrid Marie. The tree has medium vigor and forms a wide, often drooping crown, reaching a height of 3–4 meters. The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties, such as Cox Orange or Aroma.

The fruits are medium-sized, round and flattened, almost completely covered with a dark red blush over a yellow-green skin. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, with a harmonious taste and aroma. Picking maturity occurs in September, the fruits store until December, in a refrigerator — until March.

The variety is optimal for a cool and humid maritime climate. It is characterized by high susceptibility to apple canker and a tendency to fruit cracking in the stem area. On fast-growing rootstocks, biennial bearing may occur.
