The tree is characterized by medium to high vigor and a weeping canopy type. The variety name derives from the shape of the fruits, which are flattened, round, and slightly asymmetrical. The smooth, slightly rough skin of the fruits is green with stripes.

Flowering occurs in late April; the variety is late-ripening or winter. The fruits are characterized by firm, crunchy, and juicy flesh with a tart taste. The aroma of the fruits after harvest resembles a red rose, but after a month of storage, it can acquire notes of the Williams pear variety.

The variety is resistant to fungal diseases but is susceptible to Cydia pomonella. Yield is described as good, but the variety is prone to alternate bearing. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and retain their properties for 2–3 months.
