The variety is a clone of the Jonagold apple tree discovered in 1983. The tree is vigorous with a strong root system and a rounded or broadly oval crown during the fruiting period, which corresponds to the characteristics of the original variety.

The fruits are for general use, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and processing. The variety is characterized by moderate resistance to scab and low resistance to powdery mildew.
