The variety is a natural mutation of the Pinova apple. The fruits are medium or large in size, with a cylindrical or conical shape. The flesh is firm and juicy, characterized by a balanced sugar-acid ratio. A distinctive feature is the intensive red coloration, which appears even on fruits growing in the shade.

The tree has medium vigor, with abundant and mid-late flowering. Suitable pollinators include the varieties Elstar, Golden Delicious, Idared, Pilot, as well as ornamental apple trees. The variety is considered late-maturing; harvest begins at the end of September, after the Golden Delicious variety. The plant has high stable productivity and resistance to scab.
