The tree of this variety is vigorous, forming a spreading crown. The medium-sized fruits have a conical, slightly flattened shape. The thin skin is straw-yellow in color with a possible reddish tinge on the sunny side. The flesh is white, fine, juicy, with a pleasant sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety is autochthonous to the regions of Central Italy, in particular Tuscany. The fruits are of dessert quality and are not intended for long-term storage, therefore it is recommended to consume them immediately after harvesting.
