The variety was obtained in 1909 as a result of crossing «Gul kanel» and «Renet Orleanski». The tree is low- or medium-growing, reaching a height of 3–5 meters. The variety enters the fruiting period quickly and is characterized by abundant yield, while fruit thinning is recommended.
Fruits have an oval-round shape, slightly narrowing towards both ends, the skin is colored red. The taste of the fruits is sweet, with slight acidity and aroma. Apples ripen in autumn, the optimal period for consumption arrives in November after several weeks of storage.
The plant has high winter hardiness and is adapted for northern growing zones. Due to natural resistance to diseases, the variety is considered suitable for ecological and organic gardening.
