The tree is moderately vigorous, has an upright spreading crown, and is prone to bearing fruit both on spurs and at the ends of shoots. The variety is partially self-fertile and requires fruit thinning to prevent them from becoming small.
Fruits are medium-sized, round-flattened in shape with thin skin covered in a brown russet. The flesh is firm, crisp, and fine-grained. The fruits are characterized by poor keeping quality and susceptibility to mechanical damage during harvesting.
The variety possesses good or moderate resistance to major fungal diseases of apple, including scab and powdery mildew.
