The tree is moderately vigorous and characterized by high winter hardiness. The variety was selected in 1956 from seedlings and was previously called «Valge paradiis».

The fruits are small, wide-round or egg-shaped. The main skin color is yellowish-white, and the flesh is yellow with a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety belongs to the category of so-called "salad" or small apples. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption until November; the primary purpose is pickling and preparing compotes, and they are also used for garden decoration.
