The tree is moderately vigorous, forming a spreading or weeping crown. It bears fruit primarily on spurs, but shows signs of fruiting on the tips of shoots, which requires careful pruning. The variety is partially self-fertile, requires pollinator varieties, and is characterized by unstable yields and the need for fruit thinning.

Fruits are medium-sized, round or flat-round, ripening in September. The thin greenish-yellow skin is almost entirely covered with a brown "russet" bloom. The cream or yellowish flesh is juicy and crisp, possessing a sweet taste with aromas of pear, nuts, and vanilla.

The variety shows good resistance to scab, powdery mildew, and canker, but the fruits are prone to cracking with changes in soil moisture and are easily damaged during transport. The fruits have low keeping quality and are not intended for long-term storage. It is used primarily fresh, as well as for juices and cider.
