The tree is characterized by medium vigor. Flowering of the variety occurs in early May; the variety is diploid. The fruits are large in size and have a truncate-conical shape with pronounced ribs and an uneven contour.

The fruit skin is thick and shiny. The ground color of the surface is yellowish-green, complemented by a red blush or "cloak". The calyx tube is shaped like a short funnel, and the stamens are positioned in the middle.

The variety is adapted to the agroclimatic conditions of its region of origin and is included in the lists of permitted varieties for cider production under the Euskal Sagardoa quality mark. Currently, the variety is cultivated primarily in family orchards and germplasm banks.
