The variety is a sport of the well-known Stayman Winesap variety, selected for its brighter skin color. The tree is medium to vigorous, forming a spreading crown. Harvesting takes place in the second half of October.

The fruits are medium to large in size and have a round-conical or rectangular shape. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, and crisp. The flavor profile is characterized as complex, with a distinct tart aroma and a sweet-and-sour taste. The fruits are suitable for storage for up to three months.

The variety is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, or cider production. It is characterized by high susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, and the fruits are prone to cracking if there is excess moisture during the ripening period.
