The variety is classified as a cider variety; the fruits are used exclusively for cider production and are not suitable for fresh consumption. The apples are characterized by a balanced flavor with the necessary tannin and acidity content, which ensures high juice quality.

The tree has moderate vigor and a spreading crown; it is prone to slow development and the formation of thin branches, which necessitates regular pruning. The variety begins fruiting in the 6–8th year, is prone to biennial bearing, and flowers very late, requiring a significant number of winter chill hours.

Fruits are predominantly small or medium in size, flattened-round, with smooth or slightly dry skin. The ground color is yellow or greenish-yellow with a pronounced red flush and possible stripes. The flesh is soft and juicy, white in color, sometimes with a reddish tint.
