The Summercrisp variety is a hybrid of Malus domestica. The tree is medium-sized, branches well, with horizontal branch emergence, which is convenient for training as a spindle. Fruiting is regular, with a weak tendency toward biennial bearing.

The fruits are medium to small in size, yellow-red in color with stripes. The yellow flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy, with a high vitamin C content. The flavor is characterized as sweet-sour.

The variety possesses dual resistance to scab due to the Va and Vf genes, low susceptibility to powdery mildew, and fruit resistance to sunburn. The crop ripens at the end of July and has good storage quality for a summer variety.
