The variety was obtained in Canada at the Summerland research station. The tree is moderately or strongly vigorous with a branched canopy of medium density; it begins bearing fruit in the 2–3rd year after planting and is characterized by high winter hardiness.

Fruits weighing 150–230 g have a round-conical shape. The skin is light green or yellowish-green with a striped crimson-red blush and visible light-colored lenticels. The flesh is cream or white, juicy and crisp, and has a dessert sweet-and-sour taste.

The crop matures in August. Fruits are prone to dropping when overripe, therefore multiple harvests are recommended. In a refrigerator, the fruits can be stored from 1 to 3 months. The variety is of universal purpose, suitable both for fresh consumption and for various types of processing.
