The tree of this variety is characterized by weak vigor and high yield. The fruits are medium to large in size, oblong or oblong-conical in shape. The fruit skin is colored yellow or golden-yellow, sometimes with a pale orange blush and russeted lenticels near the stalk.

The fruit flesh is sweet and has a honey flavor. The variety belongs to late ripening groups; the fruits are capable of being stored for up to three months. It is considered an accidental seedling derived from crossing the varieties Golden Delicious and Stark Delicious.
