The variety was obtained by mutation of the Starking variety and belongs to the standard growth type, as opposed to spur types. The tree is characterized by medium vigor.

The fruits have a truncated-conical shape with five distinct ribs in the calyx area. The skin acquires a solid bright red color, sometimes with indistinct stripes, 30 days earlier than the original variety. The flesh is characterized as juicy, crisp, sweet, and aromatic.

The fruit ripening period occurs in September–October. The variety is used as a commercial one and is applied in horticulture as a pollinator.
