The rootstock is a hybrid of M9 and Malus micromalus. In terms of vigor, it corresponds to the reference rootstock M9, while providing good winter hardiness and drought tolerance.

The plant is resistant to scab, although it can be slightly affected by powdery mildew. The use of this rootstock promotes high yields of grafted apple trees and can have a positive effect on reducing the risk of bitter pit development in fruits.
