The tree is vigorous, with an upright or broad-pyramidal crown, beginning to bear fruit in 5–6 years. The variety is considered low-yielding and requires regular pruning. The fruits are of medium size (60–100 g), broadly conical in shape, and greenish-yellow in color with a dark carmine blush.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and is moderately resistant to scab. On heavy and wet soils, it is prone to trunk cancer and is also susceptible to psyllid damage. The fruits are intended for immediate consumption or processing, as the flesh acquires a mealy consistency when overripe.
