The variety belongs to early autumn or late summer apple trees; fruits ripen in September. The tree has a compact size and vigorous growth, but due to the sharp angles of branch attachment, young saplings require training.

Fruits are medium-sized with greenish-yellow skin and a possible reddish blush. The flesh is white, juicy and firm, possesses a sweet-and-sour taste and a specific aroma reminiscent of a pear. The storage life of the fruits is 1–2 months.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and excellent resistance to scab and fruit rot. It is used primarily in home gardening for fresh consumption and processing.
