The tree features vigorous growth and forms large, flat, rounded crowns. The variety is characterized by very late entry into the bearing period, and yields are often biennial. The plant possesses significant frost resistance, but is susceptible to scab, powdery mildew, and woolly apple aphid. The variety is considered a poor pollinator.
The flat-rounded fruits have a light green skin, most of which is covered by a carmine-red blush. The flesh is greenish-white, firm, and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. Harvesting begins in early October, consumer maturity is reached in December, and the storage life of the fruits lasts until April and longer.
