The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and the formation of a wide crown. Flowering occurs in the medium-early period; it is prolonged and resistant to adverse weather conditions, however, the variety is a poor pollen producer. The plant requires moist, warm, fertile sites with rich soil.

The fruits are medium to very large in size, ranging from round to slightly conical in shape, and are often unevenly ribbed. The skin is dry, rough, greenish-yellow or brownish-yellow in color, with a possible orange blush and characteristic suberized lenticels. The light yellow flesh is juicy, aromatic, and has a wine-spicy taste.

The variety is a winter variety. The fruits are ready for harvest in October, consumer maturity occurs from December to April, and under favorable conditions, they store until June.
