The fruit flesh is greenish-white, firm, crisp, and moderately dry. The flavor is characterized as tart, moderately sweet, with a faint spicy note.

The variety is classified as a winter variety; the consumption period for the fruits lasts from December to April. The fruits are considered first-class raw material for processing, in particular for drying and the production of wine or cider, and to a lesser extent as a table variety.
