The tree has a medium or vigorous growth type, reaching a height of 3.5–4 meters. Branches are directed upwards or grow horizontally. The variety is diploid, blooms at mid-season, 1–2 days earlier than 'Elstar' and 'Golden Delicious' varieties. The harvest period occurs 2–3 weeks after 'Elstar'.

Fruits have a mass of 150 to 500 g, the skin is often covered with an intense red blush and is distinguished by the presence of characteristic russeting. The flesh is firm, juicy and crisp, with a high content of sugars and acids. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage in controlled atmosphere conditions until May–June.

The variety is low-susceptible to scab and rosy apple aphid, demonstrates resistance to alternate bearing. Susceptibility to powdery mildew, a slight tendency to be affected by canker and sensitivity to magnesium deficiency are noted.
