The tree is characterized by medium vigor and a spreading crown. The variety is diploid and requires the presence of pollinators. The plant shows susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and fire blight, which is why the variety is found more often in collection orchards than in commercial production.

The fruits are medium to large in size and have a characteristic ribbed pentagonal shape. The skin is smooth, pale green or yellowish in color, sometimes with a light blush. The flesh is creamy white, fine-grained, juicy, with a spicy-sweet flavor and high vitamin C content.

The variety is classified as a winter variety; harvest maturity occurs in October. Due to the ability of the fruit to maintain its shape during heat treatment, the variety is widely used in cooking, particularly in French pastries, as well as for making cider and vinegar.
