Trees are vigorous with a spreading, wide-rounded crown reaching 8 meters in height. The variety is triploid, therefore it is not suitable as a pollinator. The plant is distinguished by high winter hardiness, medium resistance to scab, and low susceptibility to powdery mildew and fire blight.

Fruits are medium to small in size, ranging from round to barrel-shaped, with a greenish-yellow skin often having a red blush. The firm and juicy flesh has high acidity at harvest, becoming more aromatic after storage. Yield is high; fruits hold firmly to the branches.

The variety is intended primarily for industrial processing: production of juices, cider, and distillates. In cooking, it is valued for its ability to maintain the shape of pieces during heat treatment. Consumer maturity of the fruits occurs from January to June.
