The variety is an autochthonous genetic resource identified during fruit crop research in the Carnia area. It is identified as one of the local variants within the group of varieties known under the common name Zeuka.

The plant belongs to early-maturing varieties: flowering begins in the second ten days of April, while harvest and consumer maturity of the fruit fall in the second ten days of July. The variety is distinguished by good yield and pleasant taste of the fruit, which are small in size.
