The rootstock was bred at the Research Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice, Poland. Genetically, it is a product of crossing the A.2 and B.9 varieties.
The plant is distinguished by the red color of its foliage and winter hardiness. Among the agronomic characteristics, there is a tendency to form growths on the trunk and a shallow root system location.
Testing of this rootstock was limited in nature; therefore, information regarding its widespread use in horticulture is not sufficiently complete.
