The tree reaches a height of 4–6 meters and possesses a broad rounded or oval-pyramidal crown with a diameter of 5–7 meters. Upon emergence, the foliage has a purple-violet hue, which gradually transitions to dark green with a reddish cast, turning red-orange or orange-yellow in the autumn.
Flowering occurs in May with large, reddish-pink fragrant flowers from red-purple buds. The fruits are small, glossy, and dark red or purple-red; they remain on the branches for a long time during the winter period and attract birds.
The variety prefers fertile, well-drained, moist soils; when mature, it exhibits drought tolerance but does not tolerate waterlogging. It is a diploid variety and can be used as a pollinator for other apple trees.
