The plant has a broad-conical crown that becomes more spreading with age. The leaves are dark green, egg-shaped, and acquire yellow-orange or reddish shades in autumn. Flowering occurs in May–June and is accompanied by the appearance of fragrant white flowers 3–4.5 cm in diameter from pink buds.
Small spherical fruits have a diameter of 1–5 cm. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness down to -34°C and resistance to diseases, including scab. It is used primarily in decorative landscaping as a solitaire or in group plantings, and is also used as a pollinator for commercial apple varieties.
