The variety was obtained through open pollination of the Discovery variety. The tree is of low vigour; cultivation on vigorousrootstocks is recommended. Cross-pollination is required to obtain a yield; Birgit Bonnier and Oranie varieties are suitable as pollinators.
The fruits are round or slightly conical in shape and have white, juicy flesh. The harvest ripens in late August – early September; the shelf life of the produce is 3–4 weeks. The variety possesses resistance to apple scab and is suitable for organic gardening.
