The variety is a synthetic population created based on a combination of Romanian and foreign genetic material. Plants are characterized by medium height during the flowering period and dark blue-violet flower color, while individuals with white or yellow flowers are extremely rare.
The variety demonstrates a fast rate of spring development and intensive regrowth after cuts. It is suitable for cultivation on both irrigated and rain-fed lands, and is effective in pure stands and in mixtures with perennial grasses.
Plants possess high winter hardiness, resistance to drought and snow mold. The produce is characterized by high energy value and digestibility, and crude protein content, which ensures competitive forage mass and seed yield.
