The variety was obtained by clonal selection based on material originating from the Institute of Agro-Industrial Production (Transcarpathia, Ukraine). During years of trials under temperate continental climate conditions, the variety demonstrated good adaptability and stable productivity.

The essential oil content in dry raw material averages about 2.4% (according to individual data — from 2.6% to 3.4%). The variety's essential oil possesses antimicrobial and antifungal properties. Plant propagation is carried out vegetatively.
