Variety description

The variety was created by selection in the seed progeny of the Zhovtneva cultivar. The plant is a perennial branched bush with a height of 40 to 80 cm with upright stems. The leaves are dark green, have an ovoid shape, serrated edges, and a strong aroma.

The variety is mid-season and is distinguished by a high essential oil yield, the content of which in the raw material ranges from 3.54% to 4%, which exceeds the standards by 1.8–2 times. The plants are suitable for mechanized harvesting; the variety is promising for clonal micropropagation. Specialists recommend vegetative propagation to preserve varietal properties.
