The variety belongs to diploid forms. The plant has dark green glossy leaves with distinct anthocyanin veins and short petioles. The plant stems do not become lignified after harvesting.

The variety possesses the ability for good tillering and rapid regeneration after cutting. The ratio of leaf mass to total biomass is about 60%. The crop exhibits winter hardiness and resistance to lodging.
