Mentha Mojito is most often classified as mint intended for culinary use, however, there is no exact confirmation of its species affiliation to Mentha × piperita. It is more likely assigned to the Mentha sp. group, as this species is traditionally used for cocktails due to its less pungent aroma.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and is a perennial. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. Due to its ability to spread rapidly, it is recommended to grow the plant in containers.
